Help Reunite Family So Father Can Be With His Newborn

The Human Rights Coalition of Alachua County is fundraising to help a young mother whose partner is currently detained at the Baker County Jail-ICE detention center. They have a newborn baby and he was the sole provider for the family. Now that he is detained, the mom has had to find work and is bringing her baby to work with her. Please consider donating to her GoFundMe fundraiser to help her pay the ICE bond so that this father can fight his deportation case while with family and community. This family deserves to be together.

We are a group of activists and organizers who are committed to tangible work expanding access to basic human rights in our community.

Help Us Continue To Provide Services

The Human Rights Coalition of Alachua County provides assistance to a variety of neighbors for issues related to education, immigration, LGBTQIA+, racism. This year we have expanded our services, in part due to the continued financial support of generous donors like you. Please consider making a one-time or recurring donation.

The Rapid Response Hotline was organized to respond to enforcement actions, but is most often used by those seeking to be connected to local resources or register for a community ID drive. The hotline is answered from 8am to 8pm daily.

Let us know how you'd like to help! Regardless of language ability or number of hours you can offer, we'd love to have you join the team.
